Requirements

     We don't have many requirements and have listed them already on the Home Page. However, we do get many requests from pages that don't qualify for membership. So let's go over, once again, the basic requirements for membership in the WVU Mountaineers Webring.

1.      You must have a webpage that is rated no higher than PG. This rating would include any links on your page.



2.      Your site MUST be something more than links to other sites, a graphic, pictures, a schedule or something simply stating you are a Mountaineer fan. Only pages with some kind of ORIGINAL CONTENT on West Virginia University are eligible for membership in the WVU Mountaineers Webring. If you are uncertain whether your page qualifies, please drop the Ringmaster an E-Mail giving your URL and we will gladly look at it to see if it meets the requirements.



3.      PLEASE READ ITEM 2 ABOVE AGAIN.


4.      Do you offer ORIGINAL CONTENT? "Here are my favorite WVU Links" or "I'm a big Mountaineer fan" or "Here's the football schedule" are not what we are looking for. See Item 2 above.


5.      One final requirement, does your page meet the requirements of Item 2 above? Hopefully, we've made our point! Again, if you are in doubt whether your page qualifies, please drop the Ringmaster an E-Mail giving your URL and we will gladly look at it to see if it meets the requirements.


6.      Any Mountaineer fan with a PG rated website is invited and encouraged to join the Mountaineer Pride if their site does not meet the above criteria.

How to join

     Joining the webring is simple. In fact, it's as simple as 1-2-3. If you are interested in Mountaineer Pride membership, go here. If you qualify for full ring membership, follow these three simple steps.

     You'll need to grab a couple graphics.

STEP 3 - CHECK YOUR E-MAIL



     We'll send you the code you need to paste in your webpage.
