The WVU Mountaineer Webring is made possible thanks to WebRing.Org. It services over 12,000 member rings. Frankly, it doesn't have a reliable track record but upgrades are being planned. It does appear to be the most popular site so let's keep our fingers crossed!

Edit Your Site Information

The only information you need to keep current is your own site information. Use this site to update URL and E-Mail information. You can also change any of the other information the webring has on file for you and your site.

Other Tools and Utilities

     Here are some useful WebRing Utilities:

• Forget your password? Enter your Site ID number and your password will be mailed to the E-Mail address you have on file with the webring.

• View the list of other pages in the WVU Mountaineers Webring.

• View the Mountaineer Pride membership list.
  

• View the webring Queue. These are sites that have been submitted and are waiting to be added to the ring or are inactive sites removed from the ring.
  

• View the webring statistics to see how many hits your site is getting from the webring.
  

• We tried to make the graphics as small as possible in kb size, however, you may have need to try to make them even smaller. The Gif Wizard will do that. USE CARE! It may degrade graphic quality.
  

Do's and Dont's

• Be sure a webring graphic is on the page where the webring URL points to. If not, it breaks up the integrity of the ring.

• Keep your information current in the webring database. (URL, E-Mail address, etc)

• If using frames, allow users to break out of your frames to follow the webring. The code you were provided does this. Please do not change.

• Promote the webring. Place it on your site in as many places as you can. The more exposure everyone gets, the more hits everyone gets.

• Please remember our sites are PG rated.
